HATTERAS YACHT,S of New Bern, N.C. called on us to custom paint an 07 Fatboy for their Expo held in New Bern for the first time ever. And also first project for Porkchoppers Custom Paint and Jim Boyd of S & T Restoration coming together.They wanted realistic wakes as if it was a yacht in water. At the bottom of the fenders wanted it to look like the sun glaring on the bottom like in a pool. They fabricated many parts on the bike like the foot boards,platform on the back fender teakwood, on the front fender a bough rail. The Hatteras on the tank is stainless steel. It was a great opportunity to work with them.They a group of nice folks. A special thanks to Nancy and Eric.
. here are somesamples of ourwork. Currently we are totally restoring a 1957 Chevy Belair 2 door hardtop, getting a custom frame 502 BigBlock Chevy with a 6 Speed transmission. We shaved and smoothed the firewall,put all new door skins,new quarter panel,patched panel everything else. Some of the custom stuff is something I,ve wanted to do all my life,like making a removeable dash to make it easier to get to everything and the bottom of the car we have smoothed all the seams and filled the gaps. It,s going to look as good under the car as it does on top. Keep looking from time to time to view our work in progress.
